Grape distillate is produced by the fermentation and distillation of the entire grapes from the famous Greek variety Malagouzia.
These grapes, which are destined for the particular spirit, are not pressed, in order to maintain their juices and therefore the character of the variety.

WATER
THE LOST LAKE
The Lost Lake. We grew up around it; our ancestors, few generations ago, have memories of the lake filled with water. In winter, the water levels would rise drowning the crop. In the summer, it transformed into marshland. Hunting and fishing on the lake were the only alternatives. Making a living was difficult and people were poor. On top of it all, malaria thrived. These were wretched times.
